These Terms outline how you may and may not use the Pixy API and related services, your responsibilities, and your rights. Pixy Image Optimizer (hereinafter: “Pixy”) and the Pixy API are a product of Net Stack LTD, a EU-based company registered in Bulgaria with number 202464656.
Pixy WordPress plugin license
The Pixy WordPress plugin source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3.0. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you have under the GPLv3, including your rights to copy, modify, distribute, or run the plugin code in accordance with that license.
Pixy API access
The Pixy image optimization API is a separate hosted service operated by Pixy. Access to the Pixy API is provided only for use with the official Pixy WordPress plugin distributed through the WordPress.org Plugin Directory , unless Pixy gives you separate written permission.
Pixy API acceptable use
You may use the Pixy API via the official Pixy WordPress plugin on unlimited number of WordPress websites that you own or operate on behalf of others, completely free of charge, without limits, provided that:
- You don’t serve unlawful or illegal content through Pixy’s speed mode feature (Pixy CDN)
- You don’t attempt to break Pixy’s systems and related services
- You understand and agree that under no circumstance shall Pixy and Net Stack LTD be liable to you for any cost or damage arising from your use of the service
You may not use the Pixy API with unofficial plugins, third-party clients, modified clients, scripts, automation tools, or integrations that are not authorized by Pixy. Pixy may suspend or terminate API access for requests made through unauthorized clients, attempts to bypass technical limits, security testing without permission or other use that violates these Terms.
Support and limitations
Support for the Pixy WordPress plugin is provided on a best-effort basis only through the official support channel of the plugin on Wordpress.org at the following address: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/pixy-image-optimizer/ .
Governing law
Where a dispute might occur you agree to contact Pixy via sending an electronic mail to support@hipixy.com and Pixy agrees to be bound to attempt to resolve the dispute in a good will, with regards to all applicable laws in Republic of Bulgaria. Where the situation has not been resolved to the satisfaction of the user and a legal action is required, the user agrees all legal disputes to be governed by the applicable laws of Republic of Bulgaria, and to be carried out under Bulgarian jurisdiction.
